How do I get to the festival?

It Was Never A Phase Festival will take place at:

801 East Balboa Blvd, Newport Beach, CA 92661

Rideshare, Taxis, + Limousines

All rideshare drop-offs and pickups must use 110 Main St, Newport Beach, CA 92661.

Please do not request rides to or from the Cruisers address to help reduce traffic congestion.

Parking

Street parking is available nearby but limited. We strongly recommend using rideshare or carpooling.

YES, the Festival is All Ages. If you are planning to drink alcohol you MUST have a valid photo ID. Pictures or copies of IDs will NOT be accepted. - Kids under 10 are free.

- Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

What is the bag policy?

All guests and their belongings are subject to search. Help us keep lines moving by following these guidelines:

Allowed Bags:

- Small clutch purses and fanny packs up to 6" x 9" (do not need to be clear; max one pocket)

- Clear bags up to 12" x 6" x 12"

- Hydration packs (no more than 2 pockets + reservoir, emptied)

Not Allowed:

- Backpacks, oversized totes

- Mesh, iridescent, tinted, or opalescent bags

- Any bags not meeting size and material guidelines

BANNED ITEMS

  • Leave these at home, no exceptions:

    - Aerosol cans

    - Drones, GoPros, video/audio recording devices

    - Coolers, chairs, wagons

    - Drugs, paraphernalia, vapes (refill liquids)

    - Weapons, fireworks, laser pointers

    - Outside food or drinks

    - Selfie sticks, tripods, inflatables

    - Pets (only certified service animals permitted)

    - Metal/glass water bottles

    - Promotional materials/flyers

ALLOWED ITEMS

  • - Empty plastic water bottles (max 32 oz, 1 per guest)

    - Small cameras (non-pro)

    - Baby strollers

    - Non-aerosol sunscreen

    - E-cigs & vapes (no refill liquids)

    - Ear plugs, sealed chapstick & hygiene items

    - Medically necessary items (see next section)

MEDICAL NEEDS & PRESCRIPTIONS

  • Guests with medical dietary restrictions or prescription needs may bring:

    - Prescription meds in original containers

    - Valid ID matching prescription

    - Meds not expired and only in necessary quantity

    - Refrigeration may be available upon request

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Yes. For specific ADA accommodations, email admin@itwasneveraphasefest.com.

What security measures are in place?

- All guests are subject to bag checks, pat-downs, and screening

- Guests may request screening by someone of their same gender

- Minors will be searched only with guardian consent

- If you see something, say somethingreport to security or event staff

What if I need help during the event?

Find any event staff member on-site or email us in advance at admin@itwasneveraphasefest.com.

HEALTH & SAFETY

We will follow all city and state public health guidelines in effect at the time of the event.
